The rate at which a channel gains subscribers per upload or per day.
Subscriber velocity is a lagging indicator. It rises 7–30 days after upload velocity and engagement velocity rise.
Tracking it weekly produces a clearer signal than tracking it daily.
Velocity matters more than total subs for assessing trajectory.
